Mother Of Boy Beaten Over Birthday Cake Pleads Not Guilty
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) -- The mother of a Hagerstown's boy beaten to death for taking a piece of birthday cake without asking pleaded not guilty to murder and child abuse.
Oriana Garcia, her brother and her boyfriend Robert Wilson are all charged in the death of 9-year-old Jack Garcia.
Police say Garcia allowed her son to be handcuffed and beaten for punishment after taking the cake.
Shae has requested a jury trail.
