5 Things To Look Forward To During The Ravens 2015 Season

If you're not already pretty excited to get back to celebrating Purple Friday's, tailgating in the parking lots and starting other Sunday superstitions, we've compiled a list of events, celebrations and events to pump you up before the 2015 season:

1. Those Preseason Feels - The first preseason game is on August 13. The Ravens host the Saints at 7:30 p.m. Then on Saturday, August 22, you could take a trip to Philadelphia to see the Ravens play the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Then we're back at home at M & T Bank Stadium for a battle of the beltways against the Redskins on August 29. Finally, we'll see how the Ravens take on the Falcons on September 3 as the last preseason home game before kicking off the 2015 season in Denver against the Broncos on September 13.

2. Training Camps Expansion Pack - Last year, only a select few were invited to the training camps, but this year the Ravens are vamping up the bleachers and allowing for more fans to visit during training camp. The Ravens maxed out at 500 fans per day during 2014's training camps, but there are arrangements to bring 1,000 fans to the Under Armour Performance Center this year, then 3,000 fans in 2016.

3. Reed In The Ring Of Honor - Ed Reed returned to Baltimore to sign a one-day contract with the Ravens to officially mark the end of his 12-year career and retire as a Raven. The Ravens have plans to induct Ed Reed into the team's Ring of Honor on Nov. 22 in a Week 11 game against the St. Louis Rams. So don't sell your tickets for that game just yet.

4. Free WiFi For All - Fans will notice a few enhancements at M&T Bank Stadium for the 2015 season. The big one–Wi-Fi. The expansive new system cost nearly $6.5 million for the team and is completely free for fans. The new Wi-Fi lets fans share pictures, videos and their game day experience as it's happening.  Touchdown!

5. Fun For The Family - The Ravens love to let fans on the field when they can. Your first chance to know what it's like to stand at the 50-yard-line is during this season's Ravens Family Movie Night. Grab a blanket and bring your family to a special night on the field and watch Despicable Me 2 on the HD RavensVision boards on Friday, September 18th at 6:00 pm.  There's also the annual Purple Evening on Monday, October 5th at M&T Bank Stadium from 4-9 pm. Though the evening is not exclusive to women, it is definitely catered to female Ravens fans. The event includes a variety of activities that will entertain the most avid and knowledgeable fans, as well as those who are just looking for a girls' night out. There's also a Ravens 5K and Kids Fun Run on September 9th with alumni players, Cheerleaders and mascots. Proceeds of the race's registration fees will be donated to the One Love Foundation and House of Ruth, which are committed to raising awareness about domestic violence.
