BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Another grim milestone for the city. A fatal shooting in Northeast Baltimore is the city’s 200th homicide of 2015.

It happened in the 2700 block of The Alameda near Kennedy Avenue.

Police found a man with gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

August’s 11th slaying pushed the city’s homicide total to 200–a dramatic rise from 2014, when the city saw 211 killings for the year.
