Tropical Storm Danny Continues To Weaken

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Tropical Storm Danny continues to weaken Sunday night.

The National Weather Service says it's sustained winds are 35 miles per hour.

Danny is expected to pass through the southern Leeward Islands early Monday.

"It was a major storm just two days ago," said Meteorologist Tim Williams. "It's weakened pretty rapidly."

It is moving west at 13 miles per hour.

Danny is expected to weaken into a depression within a day or two.
