Pedestrian Dies Of Injuries Suffered In Hit And Run
NEW CARROLLTON, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police say a woman who was struck when she tried to cross a street in New Carrollton has died.
Officers say 39-year-old Sandra Luna of Lanham died Tuesday of injuries sustained in the July 15 crash.
Investigators say Luna was trying to cross Annapolis Road when she was hit by a dark-colored Toyota.
Police say Luna was not in a crosswalk.
The driver of the car that struck Luna did not stop.
Anyone with information about the car or driver is asked to call police.
