Prediction Machine Creator Paul Bessire Tells Us What Will Happen In The NFL This Season
Paul Bessire is the creator of the Prediction Machine which statistically analyzes the NFL to predict what will happen.
Paul joined Ed and Steve to talk about what the Prediction Machine says will happen this season.
Steve asked Paul how prediction machine works. Paul explained that prediction machine "simulates a game 50,000 times factoring in everything that can be quantified, which is then used to make projections for how the game. We're able to put context around all sorts of games whether it be college or NFL."
Ed asked Paul about which fantasy players have the best value this week. Paul noted, "John Brown is our best value fantasy wide receiver and Chris Ivory is the best fantasy value at running back. Another guy that we love is Crockett Gillmore. We are projecting him to be a top 12 tight end in the league for the season."
Paul went on to discuss some of the rookie NFL players that have good value this season as well as a preview of the Maryland v. Bowling Green match-up this weekend at Byrd Stadium.
