The Best Of The Norris & Davis Show - Week Of September 11th, 2015

This week's Best Of includes an interview with CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, Pittsburgh Post Gazette writer Ron Cook, and former Ravens linebacker Bart Scott.

TRACY WOLFSON

Tracy joined Ed and Steve to talk about being the sideline reporter for the Ravens game at the Broncos this weekend.

Steve asked Tracy about the week one match-up between the Ravens and Broncos. Tracy thinks both teams should have a good season this year, "I like both teams right now, this game will show us a lot. I'm really impressed with the Broncos defense and I'm curious to see their offense. I also look forward to see if Breshad Perriman plays, what will happen with the running backs behind Forsett and the secondary."

Ed asked Tracy about her predictions for the AFC North division. Tracy doesn't believe there is a clear cut best team in the division saying, "I see the AFC North being wide open. I don't believe there is a team in the AFC this season that is the team to beat."

Tracy went on to discuss the value of halftime and side line interviews during games, her take on the deflate gate saga, and her predictions for the NFC this season.

RON COOK

Ron joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Steelers taking on the Patriots in the NFL season opening game tomorrow night.

Steve asked Ron about the recent reports by ESPN detailing the New England Patriots Spygate and deflate gate scandals. Ron noted that this was not a big surprise in Pittsburgh,"the Steelers have always felt all along there was cheating. Hines Ward has been on record for years saying the Patriots defense knew what plays were being called and ran. To me its so much worse than deflate gate."

Ed asked Ron about what he expects this season from the Steelers this season. Ron thinks Pittsburgh should end up with an 8-8 record at best noting, "the defense just looks awful, it's a real mess. Ben Roethlisberger is great but I don't know if he's good enough to make it up for our defense and the schedule this year is brutal. There isn't much optimism going into the opener tomorrow."

Ron went on to discuss his predictions for how the AFC North division and the conference as a whole will shape up, as well as what he expects to see from the Ravens this year.

BART SCOTT

Bart joined Ed and Steve to talk about the opening weekend of regular season NFL games.

Steve asked Bart what his prediction is for how the AFC North division will shape up this season. Bart thinks that this division will come down to Pittsburgh and Baltimore saying, "I see the Ravens right at the top with Pittsburgh. Cincinnati is one of the more talented teams in the league but the quarterback position is what separates them."

Ed asked Bart about what he expects to see from Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor, formerly of the Ravens, and how the AFC East swill shape up this season. Bart is confident in Tyrod's ability and believes the division should be very competitive saying, "I think Tyrod is going to be exciting. He finally has an opportunity with a team that believes in him to be a starter. I think the Patriots will take a step back this season while everyone else in the division should take a step forward."

Bart continued by discussing how the Ravens defense will prepare to play against Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense, his thoughts on the Patriots reputation, and his Super Bowl prediction.
