WEATHER BLOG: Nice Fall Day

A nice fall day across the region with "normal temperatures." Tomorrow looks to be nearly a carbon copy, but perhaps a degree or two cooler, with lots of fall sunshine! Another cold front will pass on Friday, and it may bring a shower, followed by the chilliest air of the season so far. Look for frost both Saturday and Sunday night across areas away from the city and by the water bodies. Tender plants such as annuals, flowers, vegetables or tropicals need to be protected from that cold or brought indoors to prevent losing them. More on that threat later this week.
