1 Rescued, 1 Missing After Canoe Capsizes

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Rescue crews are working to find a man who went missing after the canoe he was in capsized.

According to officials, two men were in a canoe in a river in Patapsco State Park when it capsized Tuesday afternoon.

The Anne Arundel Fire Department got a call around 12:40 p.m. from a witness who said she saw a man go under the boat.

Firefighters were able to rescue one man, but a man is still missing.

The person rescued was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
