The Norris & Davis Best Of - Week Of November 7th

This week's edition of the Norris & Davis Best Of includes an interview with NFL Network analyst Charles Davis, and CBS Sports analyst Trent Green about the Ravens during their bye week and a quick hit with Evander Holyfield on a new 30 for 30 film 'Chasing Tyson'.

CHARLES DAVIS

Charles joined Ed and Steve to talk about the topics surrounding the Ravens as they head into the bye week.

Steve asked Charles if he thinks the Ravens still have a chance of making a run to the playoffs. Charles doesn't believe they do saying, "I'm going to say no, they aren't in it. And they aren't going to be in it. At 2-6 in this division, Baltimore won't be able to make up the ground. Cincinnati has locked it up, and Pittsburgh getting Big Ben back is huge."

Ed asked Charles if he thinks the colder weather will affect Peyton Manning as the season moves forward. Charles thinks that the weather isn't as big of a factor as a tougher schedule will be saying, "as it gets colder it gets tougher for him, but is it the more about the colder weather or about playing tougher teams? Colder weather usually goes hand in hand with the playoffs and playing a tougher schedule."

Charles went on to discuss the suspension of Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett, and the severity of drunk driving in America.

TRENT GREEN

Trent joined Ed and Ken to talk about the Ravens vs Chargers game which he called on Sunday.

Trent started by talking about what he thinks the issues are for the Ravens saying "the number of injuries they're having to deal with and trying to keep things together offensively...they've had trouble with consistency in the run game."

Trent also talked about the amount of injuries around the league this year saying "the injury trend that has happened the last couple seasons with big name players, the volume has been tremendous." Trent also mentioned that the new rules restricting practice times may be to partially to blame.

EVANDER HOLYFIELD

Evander joined Ed and Ken to talk about the new 30 for 30 movie coming out called 'Chasing Tyson' airing Tuesday, November 10th at 8pm on ESPN.

Ed asked Evander about his relationship with Mike Tyson. Evander noted that their relationship has been a positive one, "we have a very good cordial relationship. We never said anything bad about each other. We both came from the ghetto, we were just raised a little bit differently."

Ken asked Evander about his the lead up to his fight with Mike Tyson. Evander acknowledged that many people didn't give him a chance to win the fight because he wasn't as well known as Tyson, "Mike Tyson and I came up as amateurs. He was so popular back then that people didn't recognize me like they did him."

Evander went on to discuss his approach his fights, and Mike Tyson's tactics to intimidate his opponents.
