Authorities Search For Man After Boat Runs Aground

CAMBRIDGE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities are searching for a missing Easton man after a boat ran aground in the Choptank River.

Maryland Natural Resources Police spokeswoman Candy Thompson said a 27-foot cabin cruiser with its navigation lights on ran aground off Riverpoint Road in Cambridge on Monday evening.

Thompson says crews including the Coast Guard and local fire crews searched for the man for hours Monday night and continued their search Tuesday morning.
