Keion Carpenter Doesn't Think The Ravens WIll Go On Cruise Control After Flacco Injury

Keion Carpenter is a former NFL defensive back for the Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Falcons.

Keion joined Ed and Steve to talk about the latest news and notes around the NFL.

Steve asked Keion if he thinks that some of the Raven's veterans might put on 'cruise control' because of their 3-7 record. Keion doesn't believe that this is a possibility saying, "I think as a veteran, especially as you get up in age, you want to do your job and perform to the best of your ability. You're still being evaluated and tomorrow is not promised in this league."

Ed asked Keion about the areas the Ravens need to address in the off-season. Keion acknowledged that the Ravens need to surround quarterback Joe Flacco with weapons on offense, "definitely you have to find some play-makers on offense. When you already have your franchise quarterback, you have to surround him with play-makers. then they need to look to attack the defensive side of the football and fix the defense."

Keion went on to discuss the consistency of the New England Patriots organization in the Brady and Belichick era, the state of officiating in the NFL, and his thoughts on the undefeated Carolina Panthers.
