Chris Tillman Talks O's Offseason

Orioles Starting Pitcher Chris Tillman joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to talk about the offseason and the upcoming Orioles Fan Fest this weekend.

Chris was happy to hear that one of his favorite catchers has returned to the Orioles in Matt Wieters after he signed the Orioles qualifying offer. Scott asked Chris to explain what exactly does Matt bring to the table that separates him from other catchers. "We're all blessed to have him. This guy does so much studying of the hitters and it just makes our job that much easier. From the start of the game he is working on a gameplan to execute in each situation because hitters change throughout the count and he's a guy that stays on top of it throughout the game."

Chris Davis as we know is set to hit free agency. Chris shared his thoughts on the star first baseman and talks about the Orioles chance of resigning him. "Whatever happens with Davis happens. All the players, you know we're pulling for us to get him, especially us pitchers. He's a better person off the field than he is on. He's just one of those great teammates. It's kind of out of our hands but as of right now I like our chances."
