Former Baltimore Colts QB Bert Jones joins Sports Rehab

Former Baltimore Colts Quarterback Bert Jones joined Bob Haynie on Sports Rehab to discuss his recent induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Many folks remember Bert Jones as the quarterback of the Baltimore Colts during its 3 year run as AFC East champions. Jones was also the 1976 NFL Most Valuable Player as he led the Colts to an 11-3 record and a playoff berth. Now Bert Jones can also call himself a College Football Hall of Famer.

The news came down late last week as Jones was named apart of the Class of 2016 along with 15 others players and coaches. Jones led LSU to three consecutive bowl appearances including winning the SEC championship in 1970. When asked about being elected to the College Football Hall of Fame, Jones said "Its a wonderful honor. I'm proud for myself and LSU. I'm tickled to death!!"
