Orioles Manager Buck Showalter Joins Orioles Hot Stove

Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter joined Jim Hunter and Roch Kubatko on the Orioles Hot Stove show to discuss the upcoming 2016 season for the Orioles.

Part one of the interview started with  Jim asking if the offseason moves are moving slower than normal. "I feel we have a leg up on things" said Showalter. Roch than asked if Buck feels anxious because things have been quiet. "I met with Mr Angelos and Dan (Duquette) today we got a pretty good what if going" Showalter said. "I think you can see some things start moving pretty quickly here"

The second part of the interview begins with Jim asking about newly acquired Mark Trumbo's defense and what would Buck like to see him improve on.  "He wants to improve" said Showalter. "He's engaged in it." Roch then asked what Buck knows about Korean outfielder Hyun-Soo Kim. Showalter replied "I'm going to surprised if this guy isn't a contributor. He's physical guy and I think you're going to like what he does."

In the final part of the interview, Jim asked if Buck is ready to get to Sarasota for Spring Training. "Its a great time for us. Its one of the few times the team can bond"
