Colby Giacubeno with joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to discuss the latest news around the NBA.

The Warriors proved last night that they are far and away better than any other team with a 120-90 rout over the second place Spurs. Colby talked about the elite level Stephen Curry is playing at, “last night they proved why they’re head and shoulders above every other team in the NBA. No body can stop Stephen Curry. If you weren’t a believer before last night, which I don’t how you weren’t, you definitely are now. Everybody was looking forward to how he would do against the Spurs, the number one defensive team in the NBA and you saw that was no match for him. It was just really impressive.”

In Cleveland, the Cavaliers shook up the NBA scene with their firing of David Blatt last week replacing him with Tyronn Lue. Colby gave his thought’s on Blatt’s surprising firing, “I was surprised by the timing but I wasn’t surprised by the firing. He was dealt a bad hand, a lot of people don’t realize he was hired before Lebron signed with the Cavs and Blatt came into the situation thinking he’s taking a team led by Kyrie Irving and a bunch of players that he could develop and implement his Princeton offense…then he comes over and gets Lebron and Kevin Love. There’s only a certain amount of coaches that can do something with that much talent, getting everyone involved.”
