Harold Reynolds Of MLB Network On The Orioles Off-Season

Harold Reynolds is a former MLB player who spent time with the Orioles and an analyst for MLB Network and Fox Sports.

Harold joined Ken and Steve to talk about the moves the Orioles have made so far this off-season and possible moves still out there for them to make.

Harold started by talking about the Orioles starting rotation and it's lack of depth saying "yeah it doesn't look real deep right now...they're going to have like 30 pitchers in camp trying to figure it out." As for the bullpen and how the game has changed Harold said "the game is caught up so much right now in the bullpen, if you can get to the 5th or 6th inning that's where thew game has gone."

When it comes to the lineup the Orioles don't have too many problems there Harold said "it's a good lineup, I wish they could've got Steve Pearce back I think he was a good fit for them...JJ Hardy has to be productive and Machado has gone to another level." As for the best move the Orioles have made this off-season Harold said "I think Wieters is the steal deal...if you can bring him back even for one year and get him healthy that's a big improvement."

Harold also talked about other possible moves the Orioles could make to improve their starting rotation for the upcoming season saying "I think Gallardo is the number one guy for me...I'm lost with the value teams have put on draft picks, you have proven major leaguers out there."
