Sheriff Jeff Gahler of Harford County was on the show with Ed Norris and Steve Davis this morning talking about the tragic shooting in Harford County earlier this week.

“I can’t describe what this is like. It’s the hardest thing. It’s like losing family for the officers that work with them,” said Norris.

The sheriff commented, “No one expects, even with a wanted suspect, and an armed suspect, you don’t expect someone to just produce a handgun.”

Allegedly, the suspect had been in Florida where a warrant was issued for him for resisting arrest last year. How long he had been in Maryland is still under investigation.
