Maryland Man Indicted On Charges He Drove Car Into NSA Gate

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A 42-year-old Baltimore man has been indicted on charges he crashed a stolen car into a security gate at Fort Meade last October.

The government says Dontae Small was indicted Tuesday on conspiracy and carjacking charges, as well as one count of destruction of government property.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Small was at the wheel of a vehicle stolen in Baltimore when it crashed into a gate at the National Security Agency at Fort Meade following a police chase. He hid overnight in a storm drain before his arrest.

Prosecutors say Small could be sentenced to up to 30 years if found guilty on the charges.

It was not immediately clear if Small has an attorney. His name was not found in a check of the court system.
