Brandon Lindsey founded ‘Dream On 3,’ which connects athletes with children with disabilities.

Aubrey is autistic and has trouble with speech and auditory processing.

“It’s refreshing, especially when a well-known athlete takes time out of his busy schedule,” said Lindsey. “I can’t imagine the demands on Steve Smith’s schedule to be able to do this–to make this dream come true.”

Aubrey, who communicates with a pink iPad did accept Smith’s invitation.

“We saw the silly side come out when Steve asked her to prom. She just lit up, she was all smiles, she was dancing,” Lindsey said.

Bridges is a big fan of the Carolina Panthers, who drafted Smith in 2001 and where he played for 13 years before joining the Ravens.
