Correa, Moore Showing Impressive Skills At Mini-Camp

Ryan Mink broke down the performances of some of the rookies earlier this week with Norris and Davis, but today he joined Vinny and Rob to talk about a few new Ravens more specifically. When asked about his thoughts of rookie camp so far, Mink said that he has been very impressed with all of the rookies, but one guy has stood out to him the most.

"Chris Moore looks really good. He's quick, and it's evident that he can run more routes than just the go routes.  Those will need more polishing obviously; he's a rookie wide receiver.  I was impressed with his first impression, he looks smooth, he's got good hands, and he made a play where he kind of slipped to the ground and then made a tough catch from his back."

When asked about who he thought has looked the best between the three rookie pass rushers the Ravens drafted, Kamalei Correa, Bronson Kaufusi, and Matt Judon, Mink said that they all have different strengths that will let the Ravens use them in different situations. Kaufusi did not practice on Saturday due to a back injury, but between Correa and Judon, Mink liked what he saw.

"Correa is more of a power rusher, he's pretty quick off of the line, Judon is going to have a little more explosion from what I saw around the edge. Both can win multiple ways, but if I had to say who has that first step, I really liked what I saw from Judon," said Mink.

Keenan Reynolds has been making the transition from a college quarterback at Navy to an NFL wide receiver, a transition that will take a lot of hard work and dedication. Mink says he sees progress, but he still has a lot of work to do.

"He still has a ways to go with the transition to wide receiver, and that shouldn't be a surprise, I mean he caught one pass in college. It's a whole new ball game for him out there, I mean you can see that he's a football player, he can catch the ball, but he had a few drops and he had a nice catch. It's going take a bit of time for running routes to become natural for him."

Listen in to hear the rest of what Mink had to say about the Ravens rookies and his impressions of everyone so far.
