2 Teens Charged In Fatal Shooting Over Dice Game

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ)--Baltimore County Police have charged two suspects in connection with the April 4 shooting in Dundalk that left a man dead.

Police say 17-year-old Amritpal Singh Mavi and 18-year-old Michael Christian Mullen were both originally charged with first-degree murder.

Following an indictment for both men authorities have added additional charges that include armed robbery, first-degree assault, handgun violation, and other related charges.

Police say on April 4 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Mavi and Mullen were involved in a dice game with 21-year-old Marlo Delector Braxton in the basement of a home in the 7500 Block of Lange Street.

During the game, police say Mavi shot Braxton in the head. Mavi and Mullen then fled to West Virginia where they were later apprehended.

Mullen was found on April 18 in Beaver, West Virginia and Mavi was found on April 21 in Mount Hope, West Virginia.

The exact cause for the shooting remains unknown.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.

Both are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
