Roch joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Orioles win over the Royals last night and how the team is playing lately.

Roch started out by talking about Mike Wright’s excellent performance last night after being optioned to Triple A late last week saying “it is strange because he wasn’t even supposed to be pitching here last night, he was supposed to be in Norfolk…not to take anything away from his performance but the Royals offense is struggling mightily.”

When asked about Manny Machado and recent Orioles errors Roch said “he has admitted that he gets bored at third base, maybe not so much at shortstop…but they’re not overly concerned a couple of fluky things have happened like the Schoop error last night.” Roch expanded on the dip in defensive play lately saying “they miss Hardy no doubt about it.”

Roch also talked about possible trade options and players the Orioles would have to give up if they try to improve their pitching staff.
