BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Former “The Voice” contestant Christina Grimmie has been shot and killed after a performance in Orlando, Florida.

The suspect, identified as a 21-year-old white male, didn’t appear to know Grimmie personally, but police believe he may have been a deranged fan.

At this time, the gunman’s motives are still unclear.

Last year, Grimmie gave a touching performance at the Ed Block Courage Awards, a black tie gala event to honor select NFL players for their sportsmanship and their bravery.
