BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) — Prince George’s County firefighters doused a tractor trailer hauling orange juice that went up in flames early Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The trailer caught fire in the southbound lanes of Maryland Route 3 near Sylvan Drive in Bowie at some point before 5 a.m., according to a tweet posted by Fire Chief Marc Bashoor.

It didn’t take long for crews to get things under control and put the fire out.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Southbound lanes of Route 3, which were shut down while firefighters mopped up the scene, reopened after 5:30 a.m.
