Confirmed Tornado Touches Down In Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) -- A tornado has been confirmed on the Eastern Shore.
The National Weather Service says an EF0 tornado touched down in Ocean City on Monday night.
WJZ viewers shared video that shows heavy rain and large hail pounding the area in Worcester County.
Surveyers say the tornado produced winds around 80-miles-per-hour and caused structural damage to several local businesses.
