Ghiroli shares her thoughts on the recent trades: “I thought Dan Duquette did a pretty nice job. I think Miley, who’s not gonna light the world on fire, but one, he will hopefully eat innings based on his track record, and two he’s a left-handed started which adds a different element, So I thought that was a good move. Steve Pearce surprised me a little but, but he’s a guy who’s played well for Baltimore under Buck. I still believe they’re going to make a move in August too.”

The Rangers and their upgraded offense will try to ride the momentum of the deadline as they visit the Orioles in the opener of a three-game series starting tonight. Ghiroli thinks this series in Baltimore is going to be “a real test for [the Orioles] lineup.”
