Pitta And Correa Scuffle Leads To Sprained Finger
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Just when Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta had worked so hard to be ready for the 2016 season, he sustained another injury in the first open practice. Pitta sprained a finger on his right hand when he and rookie linebacker Kamalei Correa got into a small fight.
Pitta didn't say exactly what led to his altercation with Correa but indicated it started when there was some "after-the-whistle stuff that wasn't necessary."
Pitta said the issue between the two has already been resolved. "Me and KC already talked about it," Pitta said.
As for the injury, coach Harbaugh said, "It's going to be a little while for him." Although a finger sprain is small, it's substantial when catching bullets from Joe Flacco.
