WEATHER BLOG: Damaging Storms Roll Through

A round of severe weather has pushed through central Maryland this evening causing multiple downed trees in Howard County and I am sure that more storm reports will be rolling in. The silver-lining with these storms is that at least they are providing a little relief from the heat. The storm threat should be over within the next 1-2 hours as the atmosphere quiets down. Another hot day is on tap for Monday with heat index values still above 100 degrees at times.
