A man who was up the street talking to a friend at the time of the crash told WJZ’s George Solis he overheard the collision.

“The next thing I know, I hear a crash. Boom! I look down the street and I just see somebody laying down,” said the man, who identified himself as Samuel.

Samuel told WJZ Chester Street is typically busy and frequented by truck traffic.

“A lot of trucks, a lot of traffic all the time, all day long,” he said.
