BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A parked police cruiser catches fire just outside of the WJZ newsroom.

It happened Saturday afternoon when Baltimore Police were responding to a call of a suspicious person in the TV Hill area.

The officer in the car says he heard a pop, just before the vehicle burst into flames.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire and the officer was not hurt.
