Bicyclist Critically Injured After Crashing Into Rocky Embankment

SAVAGE, Md. (WJZ) -- A man riding a bicycle is seriously injured in a crash in Howard County.

Police say 68-year-old Robert Grossman lost control of his bike and crashed into a rocky embankment in Savage.

It happened around 11 a.m. Friday in the area of Guilford and Vollmerhausen roads.

Grossman was taken to Shock Trauma, where he remains in critical condition.

The incident is being investigated.
