First Responders Appreciation Day at Towson Univeristy

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- In honor of the anniversary of September 11,  local first responders were honored today at Towson University.

TU Tigers held a First Responders Appreciation Game Tailgate Festival on Saturday, prior to the game against St Francis University. Active duty First Responders were treated to free drinks and food.

Baltimore County Police played Baltimore County Fire departments in a friendly "Rumble on the Diamond" softball game.

Baltimore City Police was also in attendance.
