Mike Preston covers the Ravens and writes a column for the Baltimore Sun Sports section.

Mike and the Monday Morning Quarterback crew give out the grades for the Ravens loss to the Raiders.

Mike started by grading the quarterback position giving Joe a grade of C+ saying “Joe Flacco took a beating, especially in the first half, when the Ravens had no running game.” The offensive line received a grade of D as they had both starting members of the left side of the line out for yesterday’s game. As for the offensive skill positions the Ravens receivers picked up a grade of C while the running backs picked up a grade of B saying “Terrance West ran hard and finished with 113 yards on 21 carries, and had two nice runs in the fourth quarter.”

When it came time to give out defensive grades Preston started by giving out a B to the defensive line saying “Oakland knew it couldn’t run inside against nose tackles Brandon Williams and Michael Pierce, but they couldn’t get outside on ends Timmy Jernigan and Lawrence Guy, either.” Mike gave the linebackers a grade of B, and the secondary picked up a grade of C+.

Finally Mike gave out a C to the special teams unit and the coaching staff received a grade of C-.
