Pikesville Burglaries Have Police & Residents on Guard

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Baltimore County Police are investigating several burglaries in the Pikesville area.

The burglaries occurred between October 15 and October 17, and the suspects targeted homes where residents did not lock their doors.

In the cases, the suspects entered homes through unlocked doors and took purses or car keys. The car keys were sometimes used to steal cars.

The incidents occurred in the 7900 block of Ivy Lane, 3600 block of Phillips Drive, and 3400 block of Midfield Road.

In the burglary in the 3600 block of Philips Drive, the suspects took a check and then tried to cash it at an M&T Bank on Smith Avenue.
