Mike Preston writes a column and covers the Ravens for the Baltimore Sun.

Mike and the rest of the Monday Morning Quarterback crew give their grades to the Ravens in a win over the Bengals at home.

Mike began by grading the performance of Joe Flacco giving him a B- saying “Flacco has played better during the past three games…the Ravens have used him more as a game manager and they are moving him more in the pocket.” The running backs picked up a B- from Mike, the offensive line received a B and the receivers picked up a C with Mike saying “Mike Wallace and Steve Smith Sr. seemed to disappear at times.”

When it came time to grade out the Ravens defense Mike started by giving the line a B saying “for the second straight week, the Ravens seemed to tire in the second half.” Mike then went on to give the linebackers a grade of B+ and the secondary a grade of D saying “the Ravens gave up 238 passing yards to a team that lacked its best receivers in A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard…cornerback Tavon Young is aggressive, but he got away with several pass interference calls.”

Mike finished by giving the special teams a grade of A- and the coaching staff received a grade of C+.
