Ronnie recently filmed an ad for PETA, sharing his story of finding and taking home a 6-year-old pitbull mix named Winter, now Lola, a who had a rough time before joining the Stanley family.

Stanley joins a growing list of athletes, like Chris Culliver, Tyrann Mathieu, Brandon Flowers, Jarvis Landry and Lance Briggs, who have teamed up with PETA to help animals.

"Adopting Lola was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done, and I encourage everyone looking for a dog to consider an older one who might otherwise never get that chance," Stanley said.
