BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore Ravens have signed running back Terrance West to a restricted free agent contract.

West started 13 games last year and played in all 16. He led Baltimore in rushing yards (774), attempts (193) and rushing touchdowns last season (five). He also caught 34 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown.

With Kenneth Dixon is suspended for the first four games of the regular season, West will likely be the team's starter in 2017.

Exclusive rights free agent cornerback Sheldon Price also inked a contract.

The Ravens waived three players to make room, including two undrafted rookie free agents they signed last week: running back Stephen Houston, who spent last year on the practice squad, defensive end Omarius Bryant and quarterback Zach Terrell.
