Father’s Day often takes a backseat to Mother’s Day, but not in Baltimore. From enjoying an Inner Harbor cruise to catching a baseball game, it has a nearly endless list of ways to celebrate dads. Here are five places that are rolling out the red carpet on Father’s Day in Charm City style.

Spirit Cruises will offer three different cruises on Father’s Day, a brunch cruise from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Spirit of Baltimore, a brunch cruise from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the Inner Harbor Spirit, and a dinner cruise from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Spirit of Baltimore. In addition to wonderful views of the city’s many landmarks, including the National Aquarium and Fort McHenry, each cruise will include a buffet-style menu and DJ music.

This Father’s Day, Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) will host its 30th annual Father’s Day 5K through its campus and surrounding area. In addition to the official 5K and an alternative one-mile walk, there will be a health fair and entertainment by MIX 106.5.

Baltimore Orioles

If dad is a fan of America’s pastime than a Father’s Day trip to Camden Yards to see the Baltimore Orioles is ideal. The hometown favorites will play a mid-day game against the Miami Marlins. The first 20,000 attendees will receive a promotional Orioles necktie. In addition, the team has special Father’s Day Catch on the Field ticket packages available that include 25-minutes pre-game session of catch on the field, two tickets to the game, and two soft baseballs. A portion of the proceeds from each package sold will benefit the Prostate Cancer Discovery Fund of the Brady Urological Institute of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
