BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Maryland could see pop-up thunderstorms Sunday that may impact some regions across the state.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for northeastern Washington County on Sunday evening.

Those storms are now moving southeast at 20 mph with quarter-sized hail reported.

Wind gusts of up to 60 mph are also possible.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were also issued for Baltimore, Carroll, Howard and Montgomery Counties on Saturday night.
