PGPD Investigating Double Fatal Car Collision On Brandywine Road

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) — Prince George's County police are investigating a double fatal vehicle collision on Brandywine Road.

At around 8 p.m., an SUV was driving north on Brandywine Road, when for reasons unknown it crossed the double yellow lines and struck a small van driving southbound.

The driver in each vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators are working to learn the circumstances leading up to the crash.

Brandywine Road is shut down at Lee Acres Dr.
