Man Injured During 'Targeted' Shooting In Parkville
PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 23-year-old man was shot during what police said was a targeted incident in Parkville Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the scene of a shooting in the unit block of Shawnee Court in the Doncaster Village Apartments just after 2:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they found the man with a single gunshot wound to his body.
He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive.
The incident remains under investigation, but police said they believe the victim was targeted and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
