WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) — The newest member of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is ready to start sniffing out crime!
One-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd Lazar began his first day on the job Friday after finishing training.
Lazar will be partnered with human counterpart Deputy First Class Ullrich, a three-year veteran of the sheriff’s office.
He replaces K9 “Officer”Buhl, who retired in April.
