Bomb Squad Clears Inert Hand Grenade Scene In Carroll County
WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal says that an inert grenade was found in Carroll County on Friday.
Officials were called to South Church Street in Westminster around 3 p.m. to investigate the incident.
When officials arrived, they found a grenade outside of a single-family home.
Diagnostics were performed on the hand grenade and it was found to be free from explosives that could cause injury.
