Lyft Offering Free Rides To BARCS Amid Overcrowding Situation
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Due to a desperate situation of overcrowding at its shelter, BARCS is waiving adoption fees through Sunday, Oct. 13.
Because of this, Lyft said it is offering free rides to the shelter for those interested or planning to adopt an animal.
Code BARCS can be applied in the Lyft app for one free ride, up to $10, for up to 100 people.
Lyft said its goal is to support the organization in finding loving forever homes for these animals.
