2 People Rescued From Water Of Patapsco River Near Key Bridge

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Two people were rescued from the water of the Patapsco River early Friday night.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. not far from the Key Bridge.

Police say that a small, private boat ran into a tug boat.

The Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City Fire Departments were called in to help with the rescue.

Both victims were pulled onto the tug boat and taken to shore near Fort Armistead Park.

No one was hurt.
