Habitat For Humanity Volunteers Break Ground On New Project

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity have broken ground on a new project in east Baltimore.

The project includes transforming 15 empty houses on East Eager and Rose streets.

The new site will offer training opportunities for those in the HabiCorps workforce development program, which helps train low-income individuals struggling to find employment in construction.

The trainees got custom toolkits and hard hats.
