Howard County Public Schools Decide To Start School Before Labor Day

COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) -- Howard County's school board voted in favor of starting their school year before Labor Day.

The Board of Education approved Thursday night to have all 77 schools begin before Labor Day.

Earlier this week, the Baltimore County school board voted to start classes after Labor Day.

This will begin in the 2020-2021 school year.
