Timonium Fairgrounds To Install Over 7K Solar Panels

TIMONIUM, Md. (WJZ) -- The Maryland State Fair is going solar.

More than 7,200 solar panels will be installed on the roofs of the fair's Cow Palace and other barn building.

However, the panels won't fully power the Timonium Fairgrounds.

Solargaines, a Hunt Valley-based company, will install and maintain the panels.

No word on when the panels will be installed, but officials hope to have the work done in the spring.
