Man Arrested In Connection To Stabbing In Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- A Carroll County man is facing assault charges, accused of stabbing a man after calling him racial slurs.

Police were called to East Main Street in Westminster for a report of an assault.

Responding officers found the victim holding the suspect, Buck Sexton, to the ground as he suffered from two stab wounds to his stomach.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is expected to recover.

Sexton is being held without bail.
